I tried it out when we visited her, but I am a certified klutz. I was able to keep my balance, but I didn't have the coordination to pedal and steer at the same time. Still, when I retire next year, I'm thinking of getting one. I imagine they are great exercise, and I'm sure I could master it with a little practice.
