some stitch as promised

OK, here we are, firstly a postcard now on its way to the states ( postal strikes permitting)

wip- a winter shawl for myself, project designed to use up oddments of wool that have been sitting around for years ( not handspun)

wip- a gathering of bobbins on my pillow, pairs slowly being added as I work down the pattern.

    That shawl is gorgeous! I love the post card too. This purple theme is reminding me of that poem 'When I am an old woman I shall wear purple...' not that I'm calling you old!!!

    I love all the ebony bobbins! Do you use the bone ones for your gimp or passives? I only have a couple of pairs of glass bobbins and I use them for gimp so my fingers know to stop when they reach them.
