I wear whatever is on my feet for the sewing, but I rarely keep shoes on for spinning. socks are ok, but shoes irritate me, when I spin more than just a minute or two. which some kids at the meeting yesterday found hilarious:))
Spinning barefoot, no socks at all. Sewing, shoes. My foot pedal heats up and I can't stand to have hot feet. Knitting I either have shoes on or off. Most of the time off. :)
Don't use a spinning wheel....occasionally a drop spindle..so not sure if it counts..but I'm a sock girl too. And DH thinks it's funny if he catches me with one shoe on and one shoe off whilst doing a short bit on the sewing machine.
Ever since I was told about the machine foot pedal that caught fire whensomeone was sewing in shoes and hadn't noticed it getting hot, I definitely don't wear shoes.
I spin and use a sewing machine. Never barefoot for either but I do sometimes take my shoes when using the sewing machine! Now what does that say about me?
Hi, I try to respond to comments however many now come up no-reply so please forgive me if I don't get back to you. All comments are appreciated and I thank you for taking the time to read my blog.

ReplyDeleteI usually sew wearing houseshoes but barefoot sounds awesome! I'll have to give it a try!
ReplyDeleteI'm a barefoot gal too, although I have really thin ballet pump type slippers and that works ok (if my feet are cold!)
ReplyDeleteFor spinning it's bare or stocking feet, but no shoes. For sewing it's whatever I've got on.
