It's beautiful! My spinning is a little better in that I don't keep breaking it, but I seem to be making it rather chunky and uneven! I'll keep practising!
What a gorgeous Travelling Woman! Bogger than mine, which I'm sure works very well - mine is really too shallow for my broad shoulders and I may have to give it to my slender daughter and do another one for me. I was wondering about doing 3 "pivots" rather than one, but maybe a bigger one would be the way to go... Well done, and what good taste you have!
thanks for all your comments:-) Sal-you will have to come over and play with the wheel! Sue- five repeats was just about right for me,I am also broad shouldered Maggi- mmm maybe I need a spining wheel cover hehe

ReplyDeleteLooks lovely now it is finished. Tell me it a shawl and not a cover for your spinning wheel.
ReplyDeleteWow! This is very pretty. The knitting is so...delicate. I usually think of knitting as "chunky". The yarn is incredible

ReplyDeleteI do hope you are enjoying your wheel. If only my craft room was as tidy as yours.
