Day seven and having spent two of the last three days in a dental chair I'm looking a bit like a hamster 😁 still I was brave and headed out for a coffee and and some clothes shopping as my dark summer tops are several years old, mostly dark grey and too big.
Success on the tops front, I found two in the right size and one slightly different necked one which I try on once it gets cooler.
I followed this up with a pot of tea and some spinning
followed by a mug of coffee and some spinning, this bobbin is now complete for this project.
Meanwhile at home, I've finished the second bobbin of Ryeland and I am pressing on with the third but its getting a bit too hot to be playing with fibre at home.
On another note, there was a cardboard box waiting for me when I got back so it looks like I will be fleece washing on Sunday ( I will have the house to myself for a couple of days)

ReplyDeleteIt must feel wonderful to be out and about again. It's so darn hot here getting out is no fun at all. I did sit and knit on a bench near the water this morning before it got brutal.
