moving objects

Several blog have recently published photos taken with a long exposure and moving the camera so here is a method we used at college a few years ago. Simply set your computer scanner in motion and move an object over the light. DO NOT LOOK directly at the light as I have no idea how much damage it may do. With the bottle, it was simply rolled along the scanner bed.

  1. I've done that by mistake before - it never occurred to me to do it on purpose. It does look pretty cool. What is the object in the 2nd scan? It has interesting sparkly bits.
