Did they really make knitting needles?

I was merrily practising my knitting (trying out drop stitch scarf pattern) when I noticed the name on the knitting needles.




Is it just me who find this, er, unusual?

  2. hm, the shape might be ok, just the sizing is all wrong - I hope?:)) or maybe they just put some hardening stuff into the basic materials??? change of topic:))
