Take it Further Challenge (June)

Here is the finished panel for June TIF, the story is not yet finished as it eventually become part of a bag but at present I don't have any suitable fabric in my stash, it will turn up in due course.

size 12inch square

Slightly better colour match, my thoughts on the subject here. Design ideas developed from old course work, fabric from old stash, buttons from collection ( stories that have been told) combined to make a panel for a new bag ( stories yet to be told)

Sewing for Pleasure - Part One-Retail therapy

Yes, I know, I promised to try and use my stash this year, not increase it but it was a day out and it's not all for me, honest.............................

Ok, card making supplies and magazines for my mum, the beads and mother of pearl buttons were real bargains at 3 bags for £1. The heat gun was essential as I have burnt out the last one, everything else is useful play stuff. No prizes for guessing what I'm doing this weekend.

not usually a crazy enthusiast but........

the subject was an embellished heart and I had some wonderful mother of pearl buttons to use
along with sequins and beads collected over the last few years
