Take it further challenge (May)

The question was 'what do you call yourself?'.well, I have a collection of labels, many of which come under the fibre artist umbrella but they are just part of what makes me who I am. I have decided to leave others to make up their minds about what I do.

Artist? maybe.....

This has to be the best"What do I call myself" challenge piece that I have seen Sue--well thought out and a great interpretation.
Well done.

Ha, well done. Love the use of actual labels to make more than the sum of the labels themselves.

I think your collection of labels is a really descriptive way of telling visually what you do and are. Great idea. They're so fun to look at.

I hate labels and pigeonholes too... what difference does it really make? The important thing is that we love what we do...whatever it is.

We just enjoy finding ways to use fabrics, fibers, textures.. colours..... and to marvel at each new creation we see or that we make ourselves.....

I can't believe how many new and interesting artistic or creative endeavours I have found through blogging.......
