ok, it was my own fault, remember the ice skating post (of course you do) remember this line- If my posts suddenly stop you know that my attempts were unsuccessful and I'm nursing a broken something.
Well, I've just spent 3 days in hospital having a metal frame put on my arm to a support a broken right wrist!! looks like no sewing for quite sometime as it will probably take 10 weeks or so to heal :-(
feeling a little bit fed up at the moment.

Oh no! I sure hope you get lots of sympathy at Christmas and that you heal quickly!
NO!!..... oh, not good...not good at all.... bummer. Take care.... don't try to rush things ... it will take a while. I speak from experience even though it was my foot and ankle...
awwww... what a shame...
Oh Sue! You poor thing. Definitely a bummer! I hope Biker Ted is going to look after you and I hope it's not too painful. I'm sending you a big hug. Does it get you out of cooking Christmas Dinner?
Ack! This is horrible! 10 weeks?!! Whatever will you do with yourself? O for a magic wand to wave over your wrist and make it all better...
My utmost sympathies and tons of wishes for speedy healing.
I hope your arm is soon on the mend!
OK, definately not good. The bike adventures I could leave alone for a while but the stitching & lacemaking would definately find a way to happen. Take care, & maybe substite the stitching with a good textile magazine or book. Designing one handed may work too.
Poor, poor you.Sending you lots of mend quickly thoughts.
Ouch! Can you one-hand-crochet a cast-cover? Return to full mobility soon...meantime, more blogging!
Looks like Ian and myself have got to be on our best behaviour for some time!

Oh how awful. I'm sorry that your ice skating experience was so horrible. Sending healing thoughts your way.
many thanks for all your kind wishes, I will be blogging very slowly as I heal ( typically I am right handed and broke right arm/wrist)
I am sure that Biker Ted and Ian will keep the Kettle on the boil for me :-)
I am so sorry!!! Ow! My Dad also broke his wrist ice skating several years ago! I hope you learn to use your left hand so you don't go stir crazy. Maybe you need to get some books on tape to entertain you. ? I am thinking about you!
Owww Sue, I'm so sorry.
Stay comfortable and have a speedy recovery so you can get back to your crafts.
Hope to see you soon xx
