Fluff update

This year I have found myself taking a SAL/KAL with a spin a shawl group on Ravelry.com. For the uninitiated this is a spin along knit along where the group chooses a pattern and sets a deadline for the finish. Now I was sort of pushed in this direction by a certain person who has not only spun the yarn but already finished his shawl!!! and I will ask if I can post a photo of his work on here.

As you can see, permission was granted!!! This is Petes amazing shawl, Blue Face Leicester dyed by UKFeltStudio spun as a soft single. If you are a Ravelry member you can find him under Wikkidknitter.

So I have been spinning some very soft Falkland and have made a start on the knitting. I'm a little under half way through the shawl.

This post gave me goosebumps-in a good way. You gave me a bad case of wool envy!

Oh, Yumm Yumm Yumm!
Don't you just love a man who likes fibers?!
Do you spin with a wheel or a drop?

The shawl is indeed gorgeous! Tell Pete it is beautiful.

I too am going to start spinning for this shawl with some roving I dyed myself. Hope I'm not overextending myself.
