Does anyone still read blogs?

Hi, seems ages since I  was here but 2014 turned out to be a bad year on most fronts and I ended up just sort of hibernating.
Now I'm just wondering if people still blog, still read them, is anyone reading this??
Well I suppose I'm about to find out.....?
As this is a quick post using the app on my tablet, I'm going to try and post a picture of my latest attempts at inkle weaving and will be back soon with some photos from out last trip to Scotland .

I'm still here, Sue. I havn't blogged much over the last year either. I think social media has taken over to some extent but I still think blogs are valid, if only as a record for ourselves. I hope this year is better for you and you can come out of hibernation.

I'm still here too from across the pond. I still blog daily (short snippets) and read regularly each night because if I don't I lose my crafting mojo. I go to bed with my head crammed full of inspiration and wake up in the morning excited to get into something new.
I especially miss your travel photos. I don't get out and about much anymore so getting to see the world via bloggers is a welcome escape.

Me too, but I have no idea how to post a blog with picture from my tablet.

Hi nikos, if you download the blogger app it let's you take photos and use any already on your tablet. Quite easy to do, just doesn't offer quite the same features as the usual blogger.

Araignee, hi xx our travels have been slightly curtailed due to family circumstances but I have some lovely pics from last year's trip plus we will be back up north in a couple of months times. My crafting comes and goes but I'm hoping this year will be better.

Julie, it was seeing so many people I used to blog with on Facebook that made me wonder about blogging, then I had a troll through random blogs and saw that many stopped around 2013. But as you say, it's a record for yourself which will probably coax me back in again.

Hi I read you blog as you are in my Feedly blog list. I had an inkle loom for Christmas but haven't tried it yet so I am interested hearing how you get on with yours.

Also meant to say I hope this year is better for you. Also I like the pattern you have chosen.

I do, although it does seem that some of the bloggers I knew seven years ago no longer keep up through blogs. I keep mine going because I find it easier than using Facebook. I suppose it will all come to an end some day, but I hope not for a while!

Still reading too! And still bloging, but as a dinosaur I still have a desktop... not even a laptop... So no way for a tablet.

Still blogging and still reading! It's the nearest I've ever been to keeping a diary and it's more for me as anyone.

Love the weaving too.

I still blog and I also read blogs. Good top see you back. I think a lot of people use FB but to me it doesn't have the depth of a blog. And yes that does mean that I find FB shallow and time consuming.
