Just a quick post about my current bobbin lace progress. This one has now been relegated to a sample piece as I simply got bored making it :-)
But I did manage to finish this at the WSD meeting yesterday.
Both are from the book ' Introducing Traditional bedfordshire lace in 20 lessons' by Barbara Underwood, lessons 3 and 4

The trim that turned in to a sample looks like it would look so nice on just the right thing! I have no idea what that thing is, but I'm pretty sure it exists...somwhere!
That bookmark is very pretty! :)
This looks like nice progress!
beautiful lace as you know I love lace
these are lovely. the first one reminds me of some Turkish oya trim I fondled at the textile show.
Hi Guzzisue, I love your combination of colours in the first piece...I have to admit that I only made a sample 1st time round, and although my C is the same pattern, I am still not super fond of it! Love your bookmark ... just a few more to go to get to the really interesting stuff IMHO :)
Sorry, if you get this comment twice, I'm not sure it went the first time!
I was saying - oh my goodness, what beautiful lace. I am in awe!

thanks for all your kind comments, lace is becoming an addiction (again)!!!
Beautiful! Can you send me the bookmark sample?
Acereta- as the pattern is from a book, it is copyrighted so sadly I will not be able to send you a copy.
dear Sue, it's not a problem. I have many other samples to make...
