Thanks for your comments, I made some more ladies and ended up with a ukulele group! I will be taking these to the festival but im not sure at the moment how to price them.

In the meantime I have to scrub off the paint from the latest session at the youth club as I managed to get black pain up my arms!

Hi, two things to tell today.

Firstly, Biker Ted says he is having a GIVEAWAY!! so if you husbands/partners/sons are into motorbikes and fancy an insight to biking in Europe, check out this post.

Ok, I'm safe from complaints from the small furry one for a while now and I'm ignoring his comments about being him being trapped in my workroom for a few days.

This is Lily who has now found a new home in Wales with Gina.

Now to think about technique, no idea how to make it 3d as yet as I have only ever made simply dolls from felt. I've thought about wrapping a clothes peg or simply cutting out two doll shapes and stitching together. The wings can be machine embroidery with fabric snips and possibly wire to give some support.

Anyway, off to stitched up tonight with a bag of washers from Anna to play with.
