Knitting lessons continue

I'm determined to learn a few more stitches so that I can use some of my hand spun yarns so I have joined a newbie lace knitters group on Ravlery and just completed the first project.

My creation

I'm feeling quite proud ot this one :-)

By the way, the snow has now gone, the bus is running again and hopefully things will now get back to normal for a while.

Have a great weekend.

Lovely! We had the gritter lorry down our road on Thursday - that's twice in ten years. I was in shock!

our ice has gone, more to do with the rain than any grit!!

Nice pattern and colours. Isn't it great that the snow has now gone?

Sue, this pattern is absolutely gorgeous! You should feel proud of it. Glad that the snow is all gone now and our regular crafting sessions can resume again this week. See you soon x

Just stumbled across your blog and I am so pleased I did. So many lovely things to see. I love your new stitches and that yarn is beautiful!

Love your blog! Lola Nova told me about it today after she found it! I, too, am a fiberhohlic, and I do a lot of spinning and felting. My blog also has a lot of posts on my sheep, llamas, goats, etc. Glad to have found yours. I have yet to try lace work but love this bag. I need to look up that group on Rav. I am WhisperingAcres on Ravelry. :-)
