The weather turned as we headed down toward Penzance, we had booked a small campsite that I last stayed on a few times back in the eighties. I must admit that I had not been expecting to return forty years later but it is now a gem of a small site.
My Birthday was on the Tuesday so my good friend Julie ( who lives nearby) and myself headed out for coffee and a paddle but the weather had other ideas.
So it was off to craft club for a couple of hours then try again.
Different beach, more coffee and cake and a paddle.
Then an amble round the local graveyard and village.
The graveyard has been left to grow into a natural habitat and I imagine that it would be full of colour in the summer time.
A lovely girly day, we only get together once a year or so these days but used to live in the same block of flats when we were in our twenties.
The next day, the four of us went over to Falmouth for the day, just a bit of shopping and the inevitable coffee stop.
All too soon our time on the campsite was up and the van packed ready for the next leg of our journey back up north.
Speak soon x

That scenery! I can almost smell the sea air.
