A recent visit to see fellow blogger Sally resulted in an impromptu workshop on how to make paper flower followed by how to spin on a drop spindle.
Here is my flower
and here it is being modelled as a buttonhole by Bikerted.

The paper flower is gorgeous. Bikerted obviously doesn't think it's too girly either.
I was conned. Having been filled with tea and buscuits the girls said they wanted my body. This certainly was NOT what I was thinking. Sirens both of you ;o)
I think your rose is far more successful than my spinning! I will post something as soon as I get the hang of it again! Thank you so much for the beautiful, soft colourful fleece. I just hope I can eventually do it justice! For the record Biker Ted did not object to his button hole at the time, although he did fall flat on his face and might've been under the influence!
