goodbye 2013

Just a few more days then it will be a be a new year and I'm trying to decide whether to carry on blogging? Sometimes I feel that it is too much of a chore but the theory behind starting this blog was that it would keep me crafting and using my skills.

But, I need a challenge and the blog has always been my way of documenting my progress as well as events/travels etc in my life so it's really difficult decision.

I think I will post on Jan 1st either way :-)

I leave you with some belated xmas photos from Nottingham

I hope you all had a great Christmas and have a peaceful New Year xxx

I've been having similar thoughts about my blog Sue but I think I'll keep it going even though I'm not posting a lot. Not sure why but the photos you've posted recently are not showing up on the blog.

Blogging is a lot of work. The only way I manage a post a day is by cheating and writing several posts at a time to be posted later. Right now I am sitting here wondering what on earth I am going to post about in the coming week. I've been doing nothing but eating cookies and laying about.
I know I would miss your posts. Your photographs capture a world I can only dream of.

I'm missing Biker Ted - has he hung up his riding boots?

Seasons greetings from Wiesbaden!

I would miss you terribly if you stopped and I know others would too. Don't worry about how often or if you need a break. Every blog I read gets stuck and busy occasionally (even mine) and that's okay. Life gets complicated. We are happy to wait patiently until you can come back.

Hi Nikos. Just to let you know that Biker Ted has not hung up his travelling boots, but has had to put them into storage for the time being. My time is being taken up by looking after my father, who had a minor stroke last year (he is better now but still needs as much help as possible), too many hours at work and playing and rehearsing with the Nottingham Ukulele Orchestra. This Biker Ted turns his snout up at but I'm sure I nearly caught him strumming away on a couple of occasions. As things begin to settle down once more, Ted will be blogging again.

All the best for 2014 to yourself and the beautiful Mrs N.

@Ian and Biker Ted,

Thanks for your best wishes and I'm sorry to hear about your Father - hopefully he is able to have a reasonable quality of life.
