Nottingham Light Night

Its that time of year again, time to freeze in the city centre whilst watching the pretty lights. But this time it was a little different as hubby now plays with Nottingham Ukulele Orchestra and they were performing in the shopping arcade under the council house. I am full of cold so the prospect of wandering round in the sub zero temperature did not seem particularly attractive so I spent my time split between spinning with my drop spindle whilst watching the guys play and warming up in my favourite branch of Costa :-) I did manage to snap a few photos though.

We were there too Sue but missed a lot of the things you've shown here. It was perishing wasn't it? We ended up at Nottingham Contemporary to watch my stepsons band launch their new single. I did wonder if you would be out spinning somewhere. Hope you shake that cold off soon. x
