We attended the annual Round Britain Rally (motorcycle event) presentation dinner last night at Conkers in Leicestershire. This year there was a small invasion from a rather different type of wheel.
Yes, we are slowly taking over the world !!
The fun and games really started when we tried to get out of the car park, So glad that we weren't on the bike.
some people had to dig our theirs cars and then we discovered that automatics don't like the snow! This is the third attempt to get out of the car park for this one.
however, once on our way we had the motorway to ourselves.
and it look really pretty this morning :-)

Love the wheel invasion! Some day I plan on learning to spin.
From what I've been seeing on the news, you've been getting much more snow than we have this year. When I was a girl and we moved to the Chicago area, I was worried about the amount of snow I'd heard they averaged each year. I don't think we've had 3" this year. Too bad... I love snow!
for us this was the first snow of the winter unlike the last two years when we have had quite heavy falls, just unfortunate that it came on a night when we had to travel. six inch of snow on ungritted side roads made life interesting :-)
Please, ask Ted to wear his scarf!!
Ted very wisely stayed in the car wrapped up on jumper, hat and a very important scarf :-)
We have had no snow this year, in fact we have had no winter. Everything is in bloom. I can't say I miss the driving drama. Snow is only fun when you get to stay home.
you guys had a worse winter than ours...which for Canada and Calgary in particular is saying a big thing!
