Hi, although posts are sporadic on here, I can't bring myself to abandon the blog altogether. So anyone still reading this is stuck with me, sorry X
So, what have I been up to? Well, I had a stall at a ukulele festival in May to try and sell my straps although being directly opposite an established strap seller probably didn't help but I covered my expenses and the cost of the festival tickets so all is not lost especially since I would have been there anyway.

Breathtaking scenery-and so welcome in all this heat and humidity. I could use some sleet right about now.
Your booth looked quite inviting. I would have given it a good browse!
If I knew how to play the ukulele, I would be in line to purchase one of your beautiful straps! I love your inkle loom! Did you make it?
hi, thanks for dropping by, Isle of skye..always beautiful even in the bad weather, wish we could live there (maybe one day) Unfortunately I didn't make the loom, really wouldn't know where to start!! but its more compact than the one I usually use so it sometimes goes out to this sort of event.
Beautiful scenery and I'm glad that at least you covered your costs. You booth certainly looks very inviting.
